NINA FAY

NINA FAY is the name of producer, multi instrumentalist and singer from southern Norway. Growing up in a family of musicians, her passion for music ignited early, as she joined her guitarist father on tour. After studying music, she delved into the captivating world of electronic music, immersing herself in experimentation and sonic exploration. Under the moniker NINA FAY, she embarked on a musical journey inspired by visionaries such as FKA Twigs, Arca, Grimes, SOPHIE, and Caroline Polachek.

As a self-produced artist, Nina Fay is committed to staying true to herself and her unique universe, crafting intriguing ethereal and dreamy hyper-pop/electro-pop, dreamy timbres and catchy melodies. Described as a “Northern Star” (Under The Radar Magazine).

In January 2023, Nina Fay released the single "Only We Know," together with a music video. "I wrote “Only We Know” as I experienced letting go of someone close to me, and with that also part of my former self. I imagined how it would eventually dim into a distant memory, becoming more reminiscent of that feeling of a dream that fades as you awaken."

The song was highly appraised in Norway and she was listed by P3, Natt&Dag, and Aftenposten. Following this success, her latest single, "I don't wanna grow up," made waves as it was featured in the popular TV series "Norsk-Ish" on NRK.In 2023, she garnered notable recognition within Tidal's music platform. She was chosen as one of the 50 favorites in Tidal's "Best of 2023 so far" list. Additionally, she achieved the cover feature and secured the top spot in Tidal's "Best of Rising 2023" playlist.
